Only state. Edition: 150 impressions plus some trial 
proofs--100 impressions in black, unsigned;
50 impressions in soft black signed in pencil. Stone effaced. 
Renoir was not satisfied with the first 100 unsigned impressions in black; 
therefore an additional 50 prints were made in a soft black or very dark grey. 
The last 50 impressions were printed on Japan paper and then signed in pencil by the artist. 
Some of the unsigned prints in black are on Japan paper.
